For the last 30 years some players have used a long Putter. This has for certain players given them a more straight and stabile putting stroke, mainly because it takes the the wrist action away from the stroke. With he new rules about Anchoring the putter to the body, then this putter is still allowed, but the way of supporting the upper hand at the body is no longer allowed.
The putter can though easily be used without anchoring, and many players will be playing better with this type of putter.
The Long Putter have of course to be fitted to you, as length and lie is very important to get the putter and your putting to be as good as possible.
